Landscape Architects

and much more…

We have a diverse range of skills

Working in a regional context requires a resourceful approach and a wide range of skills. We think about the long-term impacts and opportunities inherent in each of our projects to ensure they deliver sustainable, well considered outcomes.

Site-specific

We don’t do cookie-cutter design. Each project starts with listening carefully to the project requirements. We always take the time to understand each site – its opportunities and its constraints. Then we develop designs and strategies to suit each place, community, and the available resources.

Our projects get funding

It can be difficult to secure funding in regional areas, so we work hard to ensure that the project budgets are used wisely. Many of our plans and reports have been used successfully in funding applications.

We are collaborative

We respect the wisdom of our clients and the communities we work for. We believe in positive outcomes for regional communities and we’re proud of the contribution our projects have made.

Broad range of projects

We are regional landscape architects – multi-skilled, expert collaborators, and experienced practitioners.

We use the analysis and design skills of landscape architecture to create great places for people. We help communities to tell their stories and to draw on existing social and environmental qualities to build stronger local economies.

Our clients include small towns, regional centres and state government departments.

The scale of our work ranges from the design of a custom seat to a strategy for the future of a whole town. We’ve designed town squares, CBD streets, river foreshores, playgrounds, parks, wetlands and even a bus interchange.

Each town has its own stories to tell. We find the right ones to appeal to a contemporary audience, as a lasting memory and to evoke an emotional response.

We know how to grade a site, place a building, and create a seamless relationship between the indoors and outdoors with access for all abilities. And, we will find the simplest, most natural way to do it – without wasting resources or space.
